Pending Ofsted Registration
At Sticky Faces Day Nursery Brentford nursery we pride ourselves on our emphasis on learning through play. We are a new day-nursery setting registered in June 2019, and we are awaiting an Ofsted inspection, which is due to happen within 30 months of registration. In the meantime, we have commissioned an independent auditor to inspect our setting. Here is a selection of snippets from the inspection report:
“Lovely language shown from the staff, lots of positive support offered, boundaries were in place, children were encouraged to make positive choices and be independent (putting coats on)”
“Staff were very in tune to the children’s needs, checking in with those who needed it, asking if they are okay, offering and listening to children’s wants in regards to indoor/outdoor play”
“All staff showed good role modelling when with the children and used clear, slow language, the use of boundaries was embedded throughout play to support the safety of the children e.g. Up the stairs and down the slide. Staff were engaging with children at all times, taking opportunities to support and extend learning for the children”
“Staff were very clear and understood how to keep children safe”
